Advocacy Letter and the Language of Recovery - SHANE...

Mariel Swiggard Discussion started by Mariel Swiggard 3 years ago
From Shane Phillips:

Attached you will find my attempt at a form letter as well as an attachment on the language of recovery. My thought was that the handout could be included with the form letter - though I don't know the usage rights of the ATTC handout and whether or not it is fair game to include. (Does anyone know the answer to that question?)
As for the letter, feel free to edit it, or shop it around for edits, or change it however you see fit. I do not want to claim any authorship over it, but just want it to be a resource for people and perhaps something that sparks more creative solutions. I wanted to strike a somewhat informal tone, and more than anything, didn't want the thing to exceed one page. It should be clear for people how to adapt it to their needs. Let me know if you have any questions about it.

Julie Cole ATTC handout was also developed in partnership with Phoenix Center and FAVOR SC, and is fair game for distribution. Mariel - any chance we can repost the Language of Recovery document in the NC Alliance group? I was trying to post yesterday, and did not see where sending an attachment was an option. I can also resend a .pdf of the Language document directly to you, if needed. 3 years ago

Mariel Swiggard You absolutely can. You start a discussion describing it and uploading within the discussion itself. You can also look on the right hand side of the screen and see an option to Upload File. I am working on making that more visible. 3 years ago
